A-o-A! Today we will
discuss about Google Webmaster tools. This is an interesting feature given by
google. By this we can add our site on Google Search engine. So we can say it
is important in SEO. Webmaster tool tells which part of the blog/web is indexed
or crawled. It also shows which parts of blog have been viewed by visitors and
which keywords are used in Google Search engine. We already set Robots.txt file
and Robots header tags in previous tutorials. Now I will teach you how to add
your blog/web to Google webmaster tools. Let’s get started!
How to add blog to Google webmaster tools
Go to Google Webmaster Tool and sign in with your Gmail account. Then click Add site (Red button). A pop up window will open here add your URL and click continue. see below
Your site or blog has been added, but now we have to verify it. For verification follow the steps:
Go to alternate section and copy the HTML code.
Note: Do not click verify button until you paste this code in to your blog.
Now go to blogger and sign in
Now select Template>> Edit html and search for the <head> and after this paste the code and click save. Now switch to webmaster toot tap and click verify. That's it! Now enjoy the fruits of google webmaster tools as other blogger have. I hope you have learnt well how to add your blog to google webmaster tools.
