Tips to Optimize Images for SEO in blogger

A-o-A! Friends today I am going to share some useful tips about post images. We had already discussed about how to optimize blog for robots to rank well in all search engines. In this article I will tell about how to make post images friendly SEO and rank well in Google search engine. There are billions of users & bloggers who are copying images from google but they do not know how to optimize it. If you are interested to get high result and want to get high rank in Alexa then must know all the basics of image optimize. Do not forget every time to optimize your images before publish your posts. This article will guide you how to optimize blog post images step by step. If you will follow all the tips then I guarantee your post will touch the height of success.

Use Relevant Images

The first and important step of optimization images. Always use relevant images to your post. For example if your post is about “Cars” then you should use a car image. If you use another image then robot can’t read your post. By using related images your post will get high traffic from google search image.

Quality Image Format

This is very important step. Everyone knows that a single image can be converted into JPG, PNG and GIF formats. Now I will tell you which one is the best.

PNG

Png is the best quality image therefore I would recommend you to use this format for your post main image. This is web friendly format so robots can read your post easily.

JPG

Jpg is the second best quality image therefore you should use all images of this format except the main title image. Jpg takes very low time for loading so we can’t compel on loading time. Jpg is lighter than PNG.

Use Keywords in Image Name

Whenever we download an image from google or elsewhere we can see the name of image image2365.jpg or photo123.png. Never use images with these names because robots can’t read your post image and it will give nonsense.

So make it perfect for robots we must try to insert a keyword name instead of photo123.jpg. Simple click on rename and give a title to your image according to your post. In this post I am using *Optimize-images-tips*. Now robots can easily read this post.

Use Hyphen in image name

Friends never use Underscore ( _ ) or blank space because robot can’t read these symbols. Always use Hyphen ( - ). If we use blank space like this ( tips for optimize images) robots will fill this name with this tag “%20” and it will look like ( tips%20for%20optimize%20images). 

Compress Images

Friends if you are using google search images then you must compress the image before uploading to your post. Keep in mind if you will not compress the image then robot will not crawl it because it has already been indexed.

Give proper dimension

Always try to give proper dimension to your image post. By giving same width and height to your image every time then it will look same and robot will index your all posts. Keep in mind if an image has 468 widths and 60 heights then don’t change it because it has already a proper dimension.

Give Title & ALT tags

These tags tell that what about your post is? These titles work like a description and make the image recognizable by robot to crawl and index it very well. Robot can’t read the image without title tag and ALT tag. I am using “Optimization Image tips” for this post images. So use 3 4 keywords for your image title tag related to your post.
